Account actions
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Connect new account | Start a new Plaid connection to add more banks |
| Reconnect | Re-authenticate if a connection expired or failed |
| Configure | Change sync settings (date range, enable/disable) |
| Pause sync | Stop importing new transactions (without disconnecting) |
| Rename | Give an account a custom alias (e.g., “Chase Checking” → “Operating Account”) |
Manual accounts
If your bank isn’t supported by Plaid, you can create a manual account to track transactions against. Manual accounts don’t auto-sync — you’ll add transactions through manual entry or statement imports.Connection health: If a Plaid connection goes stale (banks sometimes revoke tokens after 90 days), you’ll see a “Failed” status. Just click Reconnect to re-link.
