Configure Your Bank Accounts

After connecting your bank through Plaid, you’ll need to configure each account — choose which ones to sync and how much history to import.

How to configure

1

Go to Account Configuration

After connecting, you’ll be taken to the configuration page automatically. You can also access it anytime at Bank AccountsConfigure.
2

Enable or disable sync per account

Toggle sync on or off for each connected account. For example, you might want to sync your business checking account but skip a personal savings account.
3

Choose your sync date range

Select how far back to pull transaction history:
OptionBest for
Last 30 daysJust getting started, want to test things out
Last 90 daysCurrent quarter coverage
Last 6 monthsHalf-year view
Last 1-2 yearsFull annual reporting
All available historyMaximum coverage (depends on your bank)
4

Save

Click Save to start syncing. Transactions will begin importing — this usually takes a few minutes.

Checking sync status

Each account shows a status badge:
StatusMeaning
SyncingTransactions are being imported right now
CompletedSync is up to date
FailedSomething went wrong — try reconnecting
Awaiting ConfigurationYou haven’t configured this account yet
PendingQueued for processing
You can also see the last sync timestamp and current balance (current + available) for each account.
You can change these settings anytime. If you started with 30 days and want more history later, just update the sync date range.
